    Langley’s Distillery heeft sinds de oprichting in 1920 al vele prijzen gewonnen en is nog altijd in het bezit van de familie Palmer. Voor deze klassieke Gin worden 8 botanicals (niet vrijgegeven) gebruikt. “Connie”, de kleinste Engelse koperen ketels, geproduceerd in 1960 door John Dore & Co, worden gebruikt om een zeer constante Gin mee te maken. Het resultaat: een uiterst klassieke en kwalitatief zeer hoogstaande Gin!

    Aged 100% in re-charred Bourbon barrels, the elegant copper tone precedes a gorgeous rhum on the palate. It has a generous bouquet of toasted nut, lemon and sage on the nose, which compliments the chewy sweet cake as well as the mango and passion fruit flavors. The experience is accented by white pepper, cinnamon and nutmeg.

    Het aperitief Vylmer is geïnspireerd op een ambachtelijk recept van Madame Volmer die in de Lubéron, het hart van de Provence, woonde. Sinds de jaren vijftig verraste deze uiterst gastvrije dame haar familie en vrienden meer dan eens met dit zelfgemaakte aperitief! Nu, jaren later, kunnen wij allemaal de authentieke elegantie van de Provence ontdekken.De productie vindt plaats in een kleine ambachtelijke distilleerderij in de Lubéron, Provence.

    Vylmer is een aperitief op basis van rosé wijn, een distillaat op basis van zoete en bittere sinaasappelen en een mix van kruiden, rietsuiker en alcohol. Rijping van 10 weken. Het nieuwe, Franse Aperol Spritz. Drink het 'on the rocks', met tonic water of als Spritz met Prosecco of Cava.

    Made with the skin and the pip of the Albariño grape. First of all, orujos and twelve aromatic herbs are distil (chamomile, coriander, licorice, nutmeg,…).

    The distillation obtained is aged and afterwards sugar is added up to the right alcohol volume. Finally, a control analysis is made, prior to the very last processes: filtering and bottling.

    Castañal grape is an indigenous red variety that can be only be found in O Rosal area, in the Rías Baixas appellation. Bunches are medium size, round shape and black-blue color, and its skin is colorless until the grape reaches the ripening point. In order to limit the production to 7.000 kg/ha, the system to conduct the plant is double rope with a 3 thumbs/arm and 2 bud/thumb short pruning. The plantation density is between 2.000 and 2.500 plants/ha.


    The soil is acid and it is formed by stones and metamorphic schist’s rocks. The space between vines is made of natural vegetative cover formed by indigenous species like ray-grass and white clover. Harvest takes place around end of September.

    The basis for the elaboration of Davila M-100 is Albariño, Loureiro and Caíño Blanco grapes from O Rosal area. Vines are between 30 and 40 years old. There are different kinds of soils depending on the parcel – from alluvial deposit sand to metamorphic schist’s soils-.

    The production is limited to 8.000kg/ha for the Albariño, and to 6.000 kg/ha for Caiño Blanco and Loureiro thanks to the pruning. The space between vines is made of natural vegetative cover formed by indigenous species like ray-grass and white clover. Harvest takes place around mid/end of September.

    In het het oostelijke deel van de Douro, bij de Spaanse grens vinden we Quinta do Vale Meão, geboorteplaats van Barca Velha, de bekendste en hooggeprezen Douro. De quinta is eigendom van Francisco Javier de Olazabal, de achter-achterkleinzoon van Dona Antonia Ferreira die de quinta kocht in 1877. 


    De oud-directeur van het porthuis Ferreira is in 1998 met zijn zoon, oenoloog Xito (Francisco) Olazabal wijn gaan maken van dit uitzonderlijke terroir. 


    Hun eerste wijn, Meao 1999, werd meteen tot beste Portugese wijn van 1999 uitgeroepen. Het is de meest beroemde quinta van Portugal en maakt ook deel uit van de beroemde Douro Boys.


    De Meao 2011 stond in de Winespectator Top 100 van 2014 op plek 4!

    The winter of 1994/5 brought good rainfall to Vesuvio. However March and April were surprisingly warm. This encouraged very early leaf growth, budding and eventual flowering. By early August the old vineyards were some two weeks ahead of their normal level of maturation. By the end of the month, which had been very hot, the grapes looked in excellent condition, with the slight “wrinkling” that demonstrates to a Port producer that the juice is very concentrated and rich. Picking started on the 4th September, some 14 days earlier than average. A little rain had softened the skins allowing for easier colour extraction.

    Golovkine Vodka is named after 17th and 18th century statesman Count Gavriil Golovkin – the master of ceremonies for the Tsar, grand chancellor of the emperor and ambassador to Russia to Louis XIV. Produced by Golovkine’s French descendants, the vodka is five-times distilled using wheat grown in the Beauce region. A six distillation in old copper alembic stills also takes place.

    Mezcal Marca Negra Tepeztate 70cl

    Marca Negra produces mezcal in a variety of different regions with diverse agave species and mezcaleros. Their tepeztate is made in San Luis del Rio, Tlacolula, Oaxaca from wild 100% agave marmorata (tepeztate) that were 25-30 years old. The mezcalero is Jorge Véndez Ramirez, who chose a double distillation in copper pot stills, bottled with no additional aging. Produced in limited quantities.

    Distilled from wild-grown Dobadán agave plants, this mezcal hails from Oaxaca, in the southern part of Mexico. Double-distilled in copper pot-stills by master mezcalero Alberto Ortiz, the piñas or hearts of this agave average 8 to 12 years old before being harvested.

    Mezcal Marca Negra Ensamble 70cl

    Mezcal Marca Negra sticks to small batch, traditional production methods that have been passed down from one generation to the next.
    It starts with the hand-picked agave plants. The piñas (hearts) are slowly cooked in earthen pit ovens with mesquite-heated stones.
    The cooked agave are then crushed, usually by a large stone wheel and put to ferment with spring water in wooden vats. Fermentation occurs naturally through airborne yeasts, this process can take weeks to complete. The mash is then twice distilled to proof in copper pot stills.
    For the Ensemble bottling they blend wild Espadin, Madrecuishe, and Biciushe from Santa Maria La Pila and Miahuatlan in Oaxaca, harvested at 9 - 14 years. Double distilled in copper pots by Maestro Mezcalero Alberto Ortiz.

    Een ruby port wordt zo genoemd omdat hij een robijnrode kleur heeft. Karakteristiek is ook het uitgesproken fruitige karakter. De wijn heeft een zeer volle smaak van rijpe kersen.

    Vooral geslaagd als aperitief, maar hij kan ook bij het dessert geschonken worden, zoals bijvoorbeeld bij kaas, noten, taart (scharzwalder kirschtorte) en chocoladedesserts.
